Poet’s Curse

Dark or Light, the choice tonight
for both of them are in my sight.

Bad or Good, which priesthood
to make my presence understood.

Damn my curse, there’s nothing worse
than bending minds with poets verse.

But Fate’s decree is;  I agree
to help my Muse make people see.

The power of rhyme, in every line
absorbs the reader every time.

In captive state, to meditate
when handed wisdom on a plate.

So with my Muse, I now must choose
but Heaven or Hell….  we will not lose!
